The Social Bookmarking Network is made up of a couple of SEO guys who were sick and tired of endlessly searching the Internet to find quality Social Bookmarking Sites to build backlinks from. We thought, why not buy a script and set up a bunch of servers and start building our own bookmarking sites where we can control the quality and accessibility to the sites for ourselves and our customers. The SBN was born! First we started with about 40 sites and then realized that there were enough room on these sites to sell a limited number of subscriptions and still be effective. The initial intent was to cover our costs. As we have heard so many struggles with BMD and keeping a current list of decent sites that work we again realized that there is a larger market and need for this, and thus recently decided to expand the network to 150 sites. Among the many things we do this is fun for us and is a way for us to command over 150 SBN sites and maybe make a car payment or so in extra revenue a month.
